SOUND INSTALLATION WITH JACOB JUHL

ikmf_2_bikmf_3

.instrument.kontakt.membran.forsøg. is a multimedia installation that takes an artistic view at subjects like communication, technology, the body as a collection of sensors and more. On twelve different podiums a duet is played out between the movements of a small robot and the sounds from a speaker. All the cables meet up in jumbled web sitting on top of an organic formed structure in the middle of the twelve podiums. The sound from the twelve pairs of speakers and robots are hectic but quiet. Every 3 minutes the lights and a giant drone sound fills the room from a surrounding PA-system. Then 3 minutes later everything starts again. The installation was first showed at Radar in Aarhus and on September 25-27 2024 will be shown at Kunsthal 44Moen.
