SKALA: music for watertower and surround
SKALA is my most recent piece. It was commissioned by the Piano Days Copenhagen festival and specifically written for the Brønshøj Watertower, which is an abandoned watertower now used for cultural events. The piano was placed close to the middle of the round watertower and six speakers (and three subs) were placed in a circle around the instrument and seating area. The piece is divided into five parts alternating between a spiralling downwards motion and more tranquil upwards momentum.

ROBOT INSTALLATION WITH JACOB JUHL
Just finished a workshop at Aros – the artmuseum in Aarhus. We are working on a new installation featuring robots and speakers trying to communicate across the divide of acoustical and digital sound. They are both sweet and terryfying.
